The action begins with the Highburgh Heroes combating Helfire – one of the escaped souls that Brimstone is hunting. After a brief but fierce fight, Helfire is brought down and Brimstone sends him back to hell. However, the resulting energy shockwave causes some sort of overlord in Sid’s energy field, causing it to overload as well. The team heads off after their success, and Sid goes back to base to fix his Entropy Belt. Little does he know, though, that the energy overload has brought some unwanted attention.
Unknown to any of the heroes, two alien bounty hunters have arrived on Earth, looking to collect Sid and his equipment. They attack a public location and the heroes promptly respond, but this was all a trap. Once the heroes arrive, the bounty hunters spring their trap – negating Sid’s devices (which generate his powers) and capture him. Another short but furious fight happens between the heroes and the alien hunters – a large lizard-like thing with high tech armor and guns, and a weedy insect-like thing with bladed talons, wings, and a debilitating sonic scream. After a few moments of engaging, the aliens teleport away with Sid – but since Sid had been reverted to his true alien form, none of the heroes recognized him. The team begins a frantic search to find Sid.
Meanwhile Sid learns the identity of his captor. They are bounty hunters sent by the galactic mobster that Sid originally stole his equipment from, and they intend to collect, having been drawn to the planet by the Entropy Belt explosion. However, the gangster has also discovered something else – Earth’s children produce a drug that acts as a narcotic to the aliens. The mobster reveals his plan to kidnap several hundred children at the upcoming festival in HIghburgh.
Meanwhile, Sentinel manages to use the technology back at base to track Sid, since the base computers are made from the same tech as Sid’s equipment. The team launches an immediate rescue, surprising the bounty hunters and freeing Sid. This is when they learn of Sid’s true form and origin – an alien – and he admits that he stole the equipment and was stranded on Earth. Before the team has time to fully process this, Sid tells them about the mobster’s plan to steal the children at the festival the next morning.
Arriving at the festival grounds the team sees the bounty hunters, along with several dozen other aliens that teleport into the park. A final furious fight erupts, with all aliens being defeated and the children saved. However, once defeated all the incapacitated aliens are teleported away – leaving no trace of the alien intrusion.
